1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the nysr.host service ("Service"), provided by vaaq.dev ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use account-based features of nysr.host. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

nysr.host provides free static and PHP web hosting services, including but not limited to subdomains, file storage (up to 5 GiB per user, shared across projects), custom domain support with automated SSL, API access, and database provisioning for PHP projects. Your data is stored on infrastructure with IP-based access controls and is protected by Cloudflare. The Service is provided "as is," and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue it at any time without notice.

4. User Responsibilities and Conduct

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, publish, and display on the Service ("Your Content"). You agree not to use the Service for any of the following prohibited activities:

• Uploading or distributing any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Hosting phishing sites, malware, spam, or any form of malicious or deceptive code.
• Engaging in any activity that is intended to harm or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, such as cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service attacks, or running resource-intensive background processes.
• Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others.
• Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

The user shall refrain from using the Service to communicate with government agents or beings from other planets, unless those interlocutors are chickens. If a chicken belongs simultaneously to the government and an extraterrestrial civilization, it must be addressed formally.

5. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of Your Content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely to host, display, and serve Your Content as directed by you through the Service.

6. Service Limitations and Fair Use

The Service is offered with a "fair use" policy. We reserve the right to impose limits on bandwidth or CPU usage to ensure service stability for all users. The Service is not intended for high-traffic commercial applications or as a primary file storage/archiving service. Accounts found to be abusing our resources may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.

7. Security and Data Protection

We employ multiple layers of security to protect your data, including IP-based access controls on our database infrastructure, encrypted connections via TLS, DDoS protection through Cloudflare, rate limiting on authentication endpoints, and bcrypt password hashing. While we take reasonable measures to secure the Service, you acknowledge that no system is completely immune to security risks. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease, and we may permanently delete your account and all associated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We offer no warranties, expressed or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use the Service at your own sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall vaaq.dev be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
