Hosting for student projects

Publish your assignment and share a link with your teacher or group. Use HTML and CSS, or add PHP and MySQL when the course requires them.

A link to your working project

A public URL lets someone try your pages without setting up your local environment. Create a project, upload its files and use the subdomain shown in your dashboard.

For a group assignment, the owner can add teammates as collaborators. They can work on files using their own accounts, so you do not need to share a password.

How to publish it

  1. Register before your deadline

    Verify your email and meet the 13+ account requirement. Do not leave account setup until the final presentation.

  2. Use a clear project name

    Pick a simple name for the demo and check the resulting URL in your dashboard.

  3. Upload the final project structure

    Put index.html or index.php at the root. Include CSS, scripts and images with matching paths and filename case.

  4. Rehearse the demo

    Open the link from another device, test the important actions and keep a local backup you can show if connectivity fails.

Example file

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
  <title>My course project</title>
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
</head>
<body>
  <h1>My course project</h1>
  <p>A small web demo for class.</p>
</body>
</html>

Example only — replace placeholders before using it.

Common questions

Can my teammates edit the same project?

Yes, the owner can add existing users as collaborators. Owner-only actions, such as managing the database credentials, remain restricted.

Do I need to buy a domain?

No. A project subdomain is enough to share an assignment. A custom domain is optional and requires DNS configuration.

Should I upload my entire development folder?

Upload what the published site needs. For a frontend build, use the generated output rather than source dependencies such as node_modules.
